Print Preparation Expertise
Beyond scanning, dokko also supports exhibition and publication production. Files can be prepared for the specific print process you are using rather than handed off as generic scans:
- Archival pigment printers (Epson SureColor, Canon imagePROGRAF)
- Digital chromogenic systems (LightJet, Lambda, Chromira) for photographic C-type prints
- UV flatbed printers (swissQprint) for direct printing on acrylic glass, aluminium, dibond, and other substrates
Each output technology has its own color profile, resolution sweet spot, and file requirements. Having prepared files for all of these systems, I can account for those differences at the scan and finishing stage rather than leaving them unresolved until the last minute.
If you have an upcoming exhibition or publication and need scans that are ready for a particular output process, get in touch so we can discuss the requirements early.
